A great online article to share this week. I wanted to reblog it for the best effect but I mucked up and reblogged it to another of my WP sites and, apparently, you only get one shot at a reblog and they can’t be undone if you make a mistake. That’s what the ‘Happiness Engineer’ at WordPress customer support told me. (Didn’t make me happy.) Seems dumb, but there it is. My bad.
Here is the link to the article, which did make me happy!
Back to Turkey tomorrow after a lovely summer holiday on Romney Marsh.
Great to meet you the other day, safe journey home. Sandie.
Thanks. And you, Sandie. Thanks so much for taking part. I had a great afternoon and the time flew. 🙂
I am at present reading the latest Romney Marsh book. As usual, it is a great read. Well done Oliver Tidy.

Thanks for letting me know, Lilian. Much appreciated. Glad you like it.
Best wishes.
Hi Mr Tidy. Just finished RM5. As ever an excellent read. I-for-one found the speech impediments slightly amusing and did not think it distracted from the story at all. I also enjoyed the little jokes placed in the story line. It all made it seem more real to me. I can see why some people (especially those who live in the area) may get to dislike the DI’s emerging political views. But he is a character in a book and is representative of many peoples’ views. ( please excuse my poor english) :). AS I said on Amazon I liked the twist in the end regarding the DI’s personal life. Keep it up. I am looking forward to the next book. Booker? R&M? or Sansom? Simon.
Hi Simon
Thanks very much for your time and trouble to leave kind and encouraging words for #5. Much appreciated. Good to know that you enjoyed it.
You have summed up my thoughts on Romney perfectly – like him or loathe him he is just a character in a book and he and his views are not to be taken too seriously. I find him a figure of fun mostly these days.
Looks like R&M#6 will be next for me and then I hope to get back to both of my other series. I miss them.
Best wishes and thanks again.
